It's official we have babies!!! I just snapped this pic of mama bird in her nest with a giant caterpillar to feed what appears to be 4 little beaks!!! SO CUTE!

I've been waiting to check the mail until mama bird leaves the nest to look for food. So far, no more bird attacks :)

Leaving on a Jet Plane

We are off to Arizona for graduation and the wedding! Then it's on to Costa Rica for the honeymoon! We will be back in 2.5 weeks with lots of pictures :)

Now a little trip down memory lane...some pictures of us over the last 5 years we've been dating! Starting from 2004-present.

Our Little Visitor

A few weeks ago this sweet little bird started building a nest right over our mail box next to the front door. I was really surprised that it decided to set up shop in such a high traffic area.

I hadn't really thought too much about it. I've just been admiring the progress of the nest when I go out to check the mail. It has taken the bird several weeks to build the nest. There are all sorts of sticks and twigs even mud to glue the whole thing together.

A few days ago I went out to check the mail and I was ATTACKED! I'm not kidding. Two birds came flying at my head and I fell over backwards. It was kind of embarrassing, especially because we live on a busy road. I'm guessing the bird must have some eggs in there and now she and the daddy bird are extremely protective of the nest.

I forgot to tell Greg about the attack and today the birds attacked him too! I don't know what we are going to do! I am scared to check the mail. These birds are clearly not afraid of me. I will be glad when the eggs hatch and the birds can move on. Until then, I'm not sure what to do about my mail!

Last weekend Greg ordered and installed fencing along our side yard to create a dog run. He did this completely on his own and I am VERY impressed! The fence looks like a professional came out and installed it for us. He even got the exact same fencing that is in our backyard so that it would all match perfectly! This was not a small project. Thanks Love for all your hard work! The picture above is the finished product complete with patio and pooches!
